- Answer From one Aerospace engineer to another, you want to focus more on the processor than the graphics card. Both are important but the processor is where the money is at for the things we do with CAD. The 1060 will run anything he would need to run and then some. The new 8th gen I7-8750 would be a powerhouse at running engineering software as it is almost 33% more powerful than the 7th gen I7-7700.

QuestionI read that one of the cons of this laptop is that it doesn't have a right and left click on the mouse pad. Is this true? Or did they mean that there is no discrete button, but more a region of the mouse pad for these abilities?

- Answer Nvidia Graphics should automatically turn on when you do anything graphics intensive (like gaming). You can always opt to disable Intel graphics altogether, however, this will result in a slightly higher power draw which will reduce your battery life.

- Answer It is not mechanical. It is a very good laptop keyboard, though. It's great for typing, and it'll do for gaming. If you're buying it to play games extensively, and you have a setup that will support it, it probably would be worth picking up a dedicated mechanical keyboard.

- Answer You'll have some issues trying to get up/over 60fps if run it on the highest settings, but if you set it to 'high' as you said, you should have no problem.
