At light load or idle, there does seem to be a very slight amount of air flowing, but I cannot hear the fan.

Please try again later.Idle - No sound Web Browsing - white noise (the CPU fan will run at a low RPM, youd have to really focus to hear it) Gaming - Depends on which power profile youre using. The MSI "Dragon Software" lets you ramp up the voltage on the CPU and overclock the GPU, but it also cranks the fans to max. I find that the best performance is on their "Sport" mode which keeps the fans on an automatic profile. The fans are audible, but not distracting if you are in a common room gaming.
