Yes it most definitely can. The new i8 processor crushes all of these programs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Obviously it depends a lot on your workflow, but a GTX 1070 is gigantic overkill for Photoshop. The processor on this thing shouldn't bottleneck you, and video editing wise I'd only worry about it if you do a lot of colorgrading on 4K footage. In general, something of this spec will perform far better than a Macbook at a similar price point would, and seeing as there are a lot of pros who run off of that, I can't see it being an issue.
