“I have the 1TB MSI Stealth but I want to install a Samsung 2TB EVO 970 a new drive. However, in opening the GS65 I see that there are actually 2 X 500gb drives so both slots are taken. How can I use the 2TB and remove 1 of the 500gb drives?”

I'm curious as well as I want to install a evo 960 in the extra M2 slot

Remove the NVMe chip on the left (it’ll be screwed down) and replace that one with your 2tb NVMe. The chip on the right has your OS installed onto it.
