“As much as I know, upgrading the memory requires “flipping the board”, which voids warranty. Can the memory upgrade be done at Best Buy without voiding warranty?”

upgrading the memory does not void warranty unless the laptop is damaged.

Please try again later.I have seen a couple posts on msi and other forums saying that flipping the board doesn't actually void the warranty, even if you are ripping the factory seal to do so. I think this is for applying thermal paste and adding memory. I would call or email msi to confirm.
