This laptop performs well. The build and design quality are exceptional. I bought this laptop for my studies and to play the latest games at the highest settingsThe keyboard has a satisfying feel to it. This machine does not disappoint! With the components such as the Nvidia RTX 2070 (8Gb), this Laptop will still be relevant for at least the next 5-6 years. It has amazing color accuracy, thin bezels, and the refresh rate coupled with good pixel response times makes for a great experience all around. The computer has really good battery life 5 and more hours. The speakers are good considering the laptop is extremely thin and light.

This laptop is quite fast and it crushes every game I throw at it. Recently I've been playing A Plague Tale: Innocence and it runs it at Ultra settings at 90-120fps constant. All other graphic intensive games run buttery smooth. Thanks to summer and my wife and I having our gaming rigs in the same room, the temps for the CPU hover around 80-90c while gaming and quickly lower to the 40s and lower while idling, and this is in a bedroom that can get pretty dang hot in the evenings. overall it is an extremely fast laptop with an extremely enjoyable gaming experience. I've had zero issues with it. I still have yet to look into the colorful keyboard for setups and all. Yes it's a bit expensive, but for those looking for a very powerful laptop, thin and light, and capable of crushing all latest games on ultra settings, I recommend this beast. You will certainly not regret it.

This computer. It is so absolutely great, I told another gamer friend about it and she went to Best Buy and purchased the exact same model. We discussed how great the graphics, speed, sound, keyboard, weight and thinness of the computer, every detail is great! I simply can't say enough about how awesome this computer is.

I really wanted to live this laptop. The performance was great, i7 9750h, 16 gb ram, 1 tb ssd and the rtx 2070. Everything worked perfectly... but? I also bought the dell new g3 same configuration except for the 512 ssd and the gtx 1660ti. The performance in both machines is almost the same! An the g3 cost almost half of the msi price... so first of all, the gs 75 stealth is an overpriced product. Ofcourse you get more premium feeling, a little improvement in speakers, keyboard and touchpad. These part of the laptop are great, you also got really nice speed in all the usb ports. I just missed an UHSii or iii SD card slot. Now, et's talk about the screen. I couldn't find a reason why MSI is using such a bad, cheap and mediocre screens. This is the 2nd MSI laptop that I bought this year and both had the same issue, extremely poor brightness especially for the price, mediocre color accuracy and the real deal breaker MASSIVE SCREEN BLEEDING the worst I ever seen. It just maked the laptop unusable for me at night. I know they are trying to reduce the screen edges, but at what cost??? As I said i really wanted to love this laptop, even I paid 2 times the value of the dell new g3, that by the way had less screen bleeding, but the screen it just a flaw that I cannot live with.

Overall a good system. I needed a new laptop which was capable of running games. I never owned a gaming laptop or computer so tried to do a lot of research and MSI seemed to be the best option and came recommended. This issue I have is that the left gold plastic cover which hides the hinge which opens and closes the laptop popped off because the hinge actually has a known manufacturer issue. It is too tight and has caused the screen cover to begin to break and pop off while also popping off the gold cover. In order to keep the cover from breaking off, I must keep a tight hold with my fingers on the hinge while closing. If I do not do that, the screen casing pops up and is in danger of breaking off. This is unfortunate because of the price of the product but the system still runs ok. MSI said they know of this issue and would fix but I would need to ship to them and would be several weeks...something I just did not want to do. Not for a nearly $2000 laptop

This was bought as a gift for my granddaughter for Christmas and she said this was the best gift she could have asked for and she never would have thought she would have gotten something this expensive and great for Christmas . But was very glad and excited to have gotten this .

I did a great deal of research before committing to buy a higher end gaming laptop. With much skepticism, I finally took the risk. And feel like I got more than my moneys worth!!! Everything is adjustable to MY style and game play. The quality, functionality and ease of use has helped greatly improve my gaming experience! Would recommend to anyone on the fence about going all in on a performance gaming laptop!

I definitely got what I payed for. I stream video games often and I can do everything a desktop does with ease. Plus, playing games on this pc with high resolution is perfect.

MSI is now my go to gaming pc! especially for the price point of all components at the time. even though i bought this open box, its still looks and feels brand new. I used this for portable gaming, played mainly C.O.D. Warzone, but now i mainly use this as my streaming laptop. pretty awesome!!!

This laptop is easily the best you can get without dropping an unreasonable amount of money. The most attractive feature is the speed and power that this machine has. Gaming on ultra settings for most recent games is buttery smooth and the screen itself is crisp and clear. For any gaming laptop, the biggest concern is always going to be heat management. Luckily, this laptop fares better than most in this department. Vents on top, bottom, both sides, and back of the chassis around the three internal fans are very open and allow for great air flow. However, the laptop will still get fairly hot after a few hours of playing resource intensive games. This can be solved with adjusting the fan settings to boost and/or using a good cooling pad. Keep in mind that while this laptop is great for staying cool, it's fans are a tiny bit loud. Other great points include the low thickness and weight, sleek design, and comfortable keyboard.

Wow, just wow. From the beautiful screen, to the very comfortable keyboard, to the high quality all the Way around, this laptop is awesome. Its fast, very fast. Every game I have played at ultra high settings, runs as smooth as butter. Everything is top notch. Aluminum case, which helps with heat. The fans are pretty quiet for a gaming laptop. The screen is so nice, i think I am looking at 4k at times. Deep blacks, nice contrast. If you are looking at a gaming laptop from bestbuy, spend a little extra and get this one. Its so light for a 17” laptop. The Razers are nice as well, but overpriced for what you get. You can have 3 M.2 hard drives in here. Add up to 32gb of memory, and hook up anything to it. It has ports galore. I have a macbook pro, which I love. But this MSI would beat the heck out of the macbook You will not be disappointed with it.

I've been eyeing this machine for months and I was finally blessed with the funds to get it. Coming from a Sony Vaio, this MSI exceeds not only my gaming expectations but also my creative-work expectations. T Abilities: This laptop is strong enough to run all of Rockstar's latest game releases such as Red Dead Redemption II and Grand Theft Auto V.If you are into music, behold, this will hold your library AND allow you the power to create your own songs. The keyboard is amazing fun to 'program'. If you have external Steelcase products they will show up in the Steelcase console. You can comfortably edit videos and music on this machine ON THE BATTERY alone for approximately 3 hours. I was writing without my charger, and I found that just using Word, it stayed powered on battery for 4.5 hours. You can control the performance of the this laptop using the Dragon Center. From the Dragon Center, you can use coolboost, defrag your disk, change your OS [for those who install Linux along with Windows], shield your webcam FOR GOOD, even set your battery/charge preferences. When the computer gets hot, that is when you'll hear it at its loudest. Other than that, it's quieter than a corpse. Design: Unpacking this laptop was a great experience. the folks at MSI really consider the emotion that a consumer goes through when unboxing such a pricy device. I love design of this laptop (again coming from the sleek design of Vaio) because it has the aggressive "I-am-top-of-the-line" look while still being sleek and lightweight. I find the power port to be in an awkward position however there are no ports beyond it so it is no big deal since it is not preventing me from plugging in USBs and an etheranet cable. The rose gold hinges are very attractive against the matte black. This type of shell is also very easy to clean as the laptop comes with a microfiber cloth in the packaging. The screen stretches edge with a VERY VERY small black border. There are tons of other features that this laptop has to offer that you'll just have to find out yourself when you buy it. Overall totally worth it. It is built to last.

This laptop is an excellent gaming laptop. It's fast, runs all of the games that I've played on it at ultra settings and is shockingly thin and light. I wasn't sure about keyboard colored back lighting but it has grown on me and is easily adjustable. The only two quibbles I have with it are the speakers are quite weak and the fans can get a bit noisy. Neither are enough to take off a star for me but if you don't plan on using headphones while gaming I could see it being more annoying.

The laptop is very powerful, and performance-wise is on par or more so than the personally built desktop computer I have at home. My desktop runs a quad-core from almost 8-ish years ago so technology has advanced nicely, especially considering this is more portable. As a gaming machine, it's fantastic but does run a bit hot. With headphones on, the fans are less noticeable. Battery life isn't something to write home about but I kind of expect that from a laptop of this caliber. Aside from getting my game on, working on a machine like this is a breeze for AdobeCC applications. While I haven't used Autodesk REVIT in a while, Vectorworks runs decently and I expect REVIT will run well too. Disclaimer: Since I have purchased this machine I have upped the RAM with a 32GB kit but have yet to test out the increased RAM on my architecture software. Overall, would recommend since the price isn't too bad.

while the laptop feels larger( went from a 15in to a 17in so yeah understandable) it does not have a cheap feel to it. Graphics are nice and this beast handles whatever I play so far. Nice speed when it comes to multitasking.

I love this laptop! I've never had a gaming laptop with a powerful graphics card but this one is amazing. I can play tomb raider on this laptop at max settings (1080p screen though) and this laptop doesn't hesitate one bit. I love the size and sleakness of this laptop as well. Unfortunately, the fans can be moderately loud due to how thin it is. But they keep the laptop cool. I also keep it on a cooling pad so that the fans don't have to kick on as often or as hard. Lastly, the touchpad is a bit awkward since it's centered for the entire laptop, keypad included, as opposed to being centered between the left and right shift keys like most laptops are.

I am very excited about this purchase. I just got it and am in the process of setting it up. It is very large but not as heavy as the comparable Dell I was looking at. I love the colored keyboard. The display is gorgeous. The keyboard is larger than I realized. It is an adjustment since I had been using a much smaller laptop. A pleasant surprise is the number pad on the keyboard. I plan to use this computer for school. One thing I did not consider is the weight of the charger. It is quite heavy. I'm hoping the battery will last long enough that I won't have to transport the charger to and from school. This is by far the nicest laptop I've ever owned. I'm very excited to start developing on it.
