Best laptop purchase I've ever made. It's fast, handles any game I throw at it, battery life is good, and it stays cool.
Call of duty Modern Warfare (BETA) handled between 100 - 110 FPS at ultra settings. I was fairly impressed with this given the game was not completely polished.
The only issue I've encountered with this laptop is the lack of audio driver support. Nahimic audio has not worked since I've had the laptop. This is a pretty big disappointment to me since I customize my music EQ.
Overall, I'm very pleased with this laptop. I'd recommend this to anyone that is looking to go all in on a gaming laptop.

MSI makes an awesome laptop. I've owned several Alienwares and switched to MSI for travel, size and weight needs. My last MSI is going strong and has lasted 4 years with a 1060 GTX in it and still runs most games and VR with no issues.
I wanted to upgrade to the new RTX series and bought this MSI Laptop with a 2070 RTX in it. To my surprise it did NOT have WiFi 6 card in it. So I ended up returning it to BB and buying a 2080 with WiFi 6. I am only giving it 3 stars because I felt a price and laptop of this caliber would be better if it came with a NIC that would be future proof.

The allure of a thin bezel, light weight and easily portable makes this laptop a gem for people on the go. It is sleek and can fit in at the workplace. Performance this laptop was extremely quick and fluid and didn't disappoint. On intense games the laptop does run hot and can make noise from the fan that may distract. Also try out in stores to see if the track pad is comfortable due to its larger width into the right side palm rest.

I bought this laptop for the sole purpose of gaming. It won’t be used for work or surfing the internet. Literally just gaming and it does that phenomenally. I doubt there is a game that it cannot handle on ultra settings. Arms 3, DayZ, Attila Total War all play on ultra at AT LEAST 60-70fps. It stays very cool the entire time I’m playing. I recently purchased a Dell G7 and Best Buy gave me my money back because it destroyed itself 2 months after I bought it. The Dell got so hot that your fingers could barely touch it. This MSI stays cool to the touch.

Very easy to use. Very sexy and nice. Easy to set up. Doesn’t give me any issues. Fun for gaming, has nice key board, and much more nicer than the Laptop (Alien W) I had. Keeps on freezing. Im happy that MSI GS75 stealth is worth the money I paid for.

I wanted to upgrade my previous gaming laptop (which still runs like a champ, in spite of limited gaming performance), and wanted something that was somewhat future proofed in terms of hardware and features. This MSI has it all, and then some.
Although I'd heard of the MSI brand, I've never owned an MSI, and I couldn't be happier with this model. The 2070 GPU is an absolute beast, complimented by the exceptional 9th gen 6 core CPU. This gets great fps at maximum settings on every game ive played, and so far has not broken a sweat under heavy load. Battery life is better than my previous laptop, and the laptop feels warm to cool at times when the fan is on it's maximum cooling setting. If left on auto for the cooling settings, it will feel slightly warmer, but still never hot, even under heavy CPU & GPU load after playing games for hours.
The key lighting system and options are awesome, and I sometimes find myself enamored with the lighting system for extended periods of time (it is very relaxing to stare at one of the more colorful arrays for a bit). Build quality feels firm and sturdy, and I havent had any concerns or issues with carrying it in a loaded back pack. The carrying bag included with the laptop keeps it free from scratching or chipping.
The screen is gorgeous, although the durability of the hinge system is a bit questionable (no issues so far, but it does not feel as sturdy as my previous device). Ive owned laptops with hinge systems that felt similar to this one, and they were fine, so this is not a major concern.
I got this on sale, and I am glad I was able to get it! The combination of hardware and features for the price is exceptional, and pending no issues in the long-term, Ive become a fan of MSI. I have recommended this to everyone I know of that may be in the market for a gaming laptop, and everyone that has seen mine in person have been equally as enthusiastic about it based on the looks alone (especially the keyboard light show). I highly recommend this for anyone with the budget for it, and if you see it on sale, buy it immediately! Unless you are looking for very specific features (4k screen; touchscreen; etc.), there is no reason to look any further for your gaming and productivity needs!

Don't get me wrong, this laptop is sick. The specs that it has and the ability to game at super hi fps is dope. I even streamed and gamed from this laptop and it did okay... For a while. After 6 months the laptop started getting hot just while casual gaming and would throttle on me. You over pay to have these kind of specs in laptop form. You could save 1000 dollars!!!! by just buying a desktop with the same specs. And desktops are up-gradable and easier to manage cooling. If you are a serious gamer you will regret buying a laptop after a while. So unless you are playing on the go alot this would never be worth it.

Overall I am very impressed with this laptop. it has been running warhammer totalwar 2 on ultra graphics with ease. The only downsides I have noticed is the machine does run hot, hot enough to make playing on your lap close to impossible. however I will be purchasing a fan mat so this should he a non issue. Lastly, the speakers are nothing impressive, but for a laptop this powerful and thin, something had to slack. Again, I play with headphones so this is another non issue. 9/10!

This Laptop can do it all. I was originally looking at a competitors model for around the same price point, but it had a lesser screen and the Internal Drives were not as fast. I like the design of this GS75 Stealth. The 144hz screen is amazing even if it is not HDR or 4K. One of my main reasons for this purchase was to allow for a more mobile VR capabilities. My Gaming rig was far too cumbersome and was becoming hard for me to move around when friends wanted me to bring my HTC Vive over. I am pleased to say that this Laptop at 150% Over Sampling VR is buttery smooth and other games run at ultra setting at 1080P with no issues ( the trick is to set the fan profile to Cooler Boost" and it will be loud but when in VR you wont hear it.) I can highly recommend this laptop to anyone on the fence. the quality is top notch and the size is almost unreal as it feels like a 15.6" Laptop with a 17.3" Screen.

Great laptop. Runs smooth, plays games smooth, no lag whatsoever. Great graphics. A lot of space.
The only concern I have is that it runs extremely hot. Almost to the point that it's too hot to the touch underneath of it. I assume the laptop is designed with the heat in mind, but just to be safe I would recommend the extended warranty. Due to the heat, the fans run constantly, so it gets quite noisy.
Other than the heat, I highly recommend the laptop.

I considered an MSI computer because I’m a causal gamer and my previous 3 Dell computers died on me, mostly likely due to the demand of my gaming. MSI Is a good middle ground computer that can handle intense video game session and also intense web browsing. It is cheaper than Alienware and almost the same price as a Mac book. MSI to me has more bang for your buck with great graphics, doesn’t get too hot, has a great battery life and can be used for gaming and a regular computer with the windows software that I’m use to. Great computer, you will not be disappointed.

I was wanting something well-rounded and top of the line for my first gaming laptop. I don't play a lot yet but wanted something I could use for whatever in the future. I am a visual person and the design of this model is spectacular. The keyboard is easy to use with the spaced out buttons. Does get a little warm but that's to be expected. Graphics do not disappoint. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a new laptop.

I bought the MSI 17.3” GS75 Stealth 9SF so that I could do my financial work and then let my grandkids play their games when they come over. They were all very impressed with this laptop. They said all their games played on the highest graphics settings and with the 1TB solid state hard drive there was absolutely zero lag. I really love the look and feel of the laptop and how fast it responds.

Love the MSI series gaming laptops. I've had Alienwares and MSI laptops over the last 5 years and I have to say that I like the MSI better! I was sceptical of the "thin" series but it plays the new Modern Warfare with ease and it's much lighter than the old MSI's and way lighter than Alienwares... No video blue screens either like Alienwares always seem to do... 2 thumbs up

I needed a laptop computer for 3D design. This fits the bill perfectly. The whole unit is thin and is real fast!!! I love how the keyboard lights up in different colors. Sleek design, well made and it looks expensive since I paid a pretty penny for it. Not a gamer so I can't give any advice on that. Found it cheaper here than anywhere else. Bonus!

Very easy setup. In addition to gaming, i use this computer to do coding and really like the wide screen. Typically work on multiple projects and the processor is able to keep up with all the tasks I do simultaneously. The keypad is a dream to type on and I really like the backlight options.

The 144 Hz refresh rate on the monitor makes games look great on this laptop. The Nvidia 2070 Max-Q GPU allows most games to play with graphics configurations set to high (but usually not ultra). Read speeds on the SSD are also very good and make for fairly fast load times. When using the laptop on battery for non-gaming tasks like web browsing, videos, programming, etc., the battery is pretty good too. This laptop is also thin enough so as to be very portable; I took it on a 24 hour flight to India and back, and had no trouble carrying it around or gaming in random locations. The thermals are probably the most impressive. Even if you don't turn on the "super cool" mode (which essentially makes the fans run like a jet engine), the laptop remains at a reasonable temperature.
All that said, it proved to have unreliable hardware. After owning it for about a month, the headphone jack randomly died, and when I took it in for repairs I was told the jack is soldered directly to the motherboard.. I purchased a separate full-coverage warranty so I can't comment on MSI's customer service, but if it were out of warranty I would have been stuck replacing the motherboard at a very steep cost. If you buy this model, get a warranty because it seems that some of the internals are poorly designed.
