Customers are saying

Customers commend the 17.3" Gaming Laptop's impressive performance and high-quality graphics, along with its comfortable keyboard and relatively lightweight design. However, some users point to issues with heat generation, hinge durability, and occasional fan noise. While the battery life and size are generally praised, a few customers mention concerns about the price and speaker quality.

Bought for occasional hardcore gaming for me and causal web surfing for the wife. The design is sleek, lightweight, sturdy. The IPS panel offers more realistic colors and the thin bezels increase gaming immersion, especially on the 17in screen. The fan can get louder when under load, but the speakers can overpower the fan noise. The mouse pad length occasionally interferes with typing. Only bought it yesterday, but so far pretty impressed with the quality and performance.

I tried a few gaming laptops in recent times. Msi gs 65, hp omen, asus rog gu502. Paying 2000$, i expect it to be perfect. This exceeded my expectations. 1. Cooling? Check 2.performace - the best i tried 3.battery? Decent 5 hrs 4. Screen? Moving away from asus rog, i like this better but donno y 5. 17 inch but smaller form factor 6.webcam? Yes- asus must kill themselfs for removing webcam All the gs75 youtube reveiws are done with early 2019 models with i7 8750h, but is update new model with i7 9750h. They resolved every issue in this model like flex in the chasis. This is the best gaming laptop i tried and i am keeping this.

Laptop performs well. Since it's a gaming laptop, any review probably needs to talk about gaming. I haven't been disappointed in that regard at all. I'm consistently getting good framerates on all of the games that I play. I did do a bare reinstall to get rid of some of the bloatware, but that is to be expected in any laptop or pre-built PC. The display is large enough to use on the go, which is why you'd buy a laptop to begin with. At home, I have mine connected to a 32" 4K monitor and it runs it flawlessly. My only gripe, and it isn't a big one because I mostly use an external mouse/keyboard when I'm at home, is the placement of the trackpad. The trackpad itself is nice, but it's placed directly below the keyboard so that you cannot rest your wrists as you type or you will be pressing on the trackpad. Both the builtin keyboard and the trackpad are nice, both functionally and aesthetically, but the placement of the trackpad could have been better thought out. Other than that, I have no complaints about this laptop.

Great sleek thin design and color keyboard. Powerful computer with a good sized hard drive and plenty of connections for many different devices, without having to use a dongle adapter. Very happy with the purchase and the ample 17” screen

Laptop is great. It’s quick and has high frame rates. The touchpad is garbage. It sure why they aren’t using synaptics like other MSI notebooks I’ve had. Contacted MSI and they gave me an RMA to send it in, but I am waiting to see if they will tell me what they will do since all of the ones of this model I tested are the same. Everything else is excellent.

Great computer that has lots of configuration love the keyboard light customization and all the apps that make gaming so much easy and fast to get in to instead of wasting time. cooler buster helps a lot with those new graphics heavy games somewhat quiet better than other models I tried. if u got the budget for this enjoy.

I was mainly looking for a laptop strictly for gaming but wanted something that could keep up with desktop specs. After some searching I found this computer and fell in love with it from the gold bezels to the customizable keyboard and after some game playing I love the hardware as well. It's just a great computer.

Very compact for the punch it packs and good battery life for a gaming laptop. The MSI software is fairly straightforward and does not consume a lot of resources. So far, it has been able to handle all the games I've installed. The 144hz screen is amazing! I've own it for little over a month now and have used it for gaming, school, and work. Very good product for the money.

I bought this laptop for gaming an music production. I take very good care of my equipment, please understand that any issues I have experienced were from a less than normal use perspective. The laptop itself functions flawlessly. I can play AAA titles on ultra settings, and get really good frame rates (100FPS+) on Modern Warfare, ultra settings. However, about 2 weeks after my warranty ran out, the left hinge completely failed. I was opening the lid to use it, and heard a noticeable "crack" from the hinge. Upon closer inspection, I saw a bulge on the left hinge, where the screen attaches to the base. A quick search revealed that mine is not an isolated incident, and that MSI will not repair it, even if it is within the warranty period, citing that it is an "end user" created problem. I would suggest looking elsewhere as I cannot recommend this product, given its obvious design flaw.

I've had this computer for a few months now and I must say it performs well up to standard. I have almost every game you can think of as well as custom content. I am approaching needing more space but that is an easy fix. For the price it was definitely worth it, I spend more time on my computer than anywhere else. This is an awesome place to be.

This s my first "gaming computer". I am a photographer and I process between 100 to 150 pictures per day, on average. I usually wear out a laptop in about 2 years or so. A friend recommended that I try one of these as they are intended for heavy use and are great for the type of work I do. So far, I am very happy with its performance.

This purchase was made for traveling purposes as my son is an extreme gamer an was actually an upgrade from the model right under this one. Let me start by saying he loved, loved, loved it. He actually one some money as well. If you do purchase make sure you also get a mouse because it is hard to use with just your finger. Other than that I truly recommend.

Formerly a Mac person. Need it a Windows PC for work due to couple of programs that only run on Windows PC. Parallels on my Mac... uh didn't work at all when you need real performance, at least did not work the parallels thing for me. So I got this MSI Stealth 17". Looked at the MSI Work Stations but they got pricey on what i guess is business quality products, similar to what Dell offers comparing Home products vs business products. The referral: I bought another MSI Stealth, a slightly prior version last year for my son going to college (he picked the MSI laptop himself after his research at the time his old Alienware needed to be replaced), and that was the best referral MSI could get, I borrowed the laptop from him during the summer and here we are, I got hooked up with the brand and its performance. Now we have two of these at home, and couldn't be happier.

As you can see by everyone else’s reviews this laptop is quite amazing. So I am not going to rinse and repeat everyone else. BE AWARE: The motherboard is installed upside down. To upgrade the RAM, you have to disconnect EVERYTHING. Battery, network card, keyboard monitor, speakers, etc. and remove the motherboard to just get to the RAM. Very tedious and can be nerve racking because I did that the same day I got the laptop. Now I am running with 32gb of ram and enjoying second of it. I am utilizing the HTC Vive and no frame drops. This easily portable laptop can push so much power. That’s it, just wanted to let anyone who may be wanting to get this and upgrade the ram that it is not that easy. I also threw in another 1TB ssd hd, they are very easy to get to, so no additional steps besides removing the back casing of the laptop. Enjoy and game on!

This laptop hits it out of the park. Thin laptop, beautiful screen, and its fast. When I say fadt, I mean it's really fast. It works great with the Oculus Quest 2. Ive been able to play every VR game through steam with no issues, including Half Life Alyx.

I've had this laptop for around a month now and it honestly has met (or surpassed) my expectations. It has all you could want from a gaming laptop: RGB Keyboard, great panel, great specs, thin bezel, etc. Almost everything about this laptop is great, so to offer some contrast I will go through what isn't so great: -This thing picks up smudges VERY EASILY -The "rubber" feet/pads at the bottom aren't really rubber, so the laptop can slide easily -The Cooler Boost Tech does keep temps under load at around 67 degrees (GPU), but it sounds like a jet engine taking off -MSI Gaming software is important (as you can switch to and from performance profiles and cooler boost), but poorly designed -Not sure how likely it will be for you to play games with this thing in public, as it needs to be plugged in for the "gaming modes" to be enabled (haven't found a way to change this), and even just on battery it would die in like 45 mins Besides all this, I am very satisfied with this purchase, and I would recommend it anyone (at a fair price - I bought it for less than $2000).
