• A:Answer No, this unit only has an M.2 slot and a 2.5" SATA drive. The configuration included is a 128GB M.2 SATA and a 1TB HDD (5400RPM).

• A:Answer Hello John, my name is Patrick Guffey, I understand you're looking at the MSI GL72 7RDX-800/17.3 FULL H laptop, that's correct it doesn't have a cd/dvd drive but do like i did I hooked up an external Pioneer Blu-Ray Burner model number is BDR-XD05S and you can be able to watch Blu-Ray and standard dvds, you might have to download the vlc dvd player to help you play your dvds that's what I had to do, I had set up an appointment at the local bestbuy where I got my MSI laptop and the helped me to download the vlc dvd player and so far I'm pleased with my laptop, it plays my dvds awesome, and it especially plays my pc games awesome as well.
