Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.They removed the 2mm gold plating from the fan shroud. Now they only use unobtainium(TM) plating which looks the same but obviously not as the price drastically has changed. Not sure why they thought removing the gold which is worth more than the card itself was a good idea, but I swore I heard a GPU manufacturer laughing... something about "they will buy it anyways". Serious side note: This is market manipulation. This has nothing to do with crypto. Scalpers have been doing this for awhile, they started with shoes, then consoles, and then heard about GPUs. Mix that in with everyone wanting a GPU and boom, suddenly the supply is hoarded en mass. You can't even buy an LHR card for a decent price, that should be proof enough.
