When the pandemic eases and half of all shipping is not reserved for PPE, shortages will ease. Some containerships are arriving half empty because of space reserved for containers of PPE that didn't make port in time. I work the docks as a casual at times and it's incredibly messed up. Complete supply chain chaos, no rhyme or reason anywhere. No idea when it will stop, either.
