Would this work out of the box with a ryzen 5 3400g? null

MSI literature says it does, but I've been having POST issues with my Ryzen 3200G and MSI B450M Pro-M2. BIOS upgrades did not fix. It works fine with an old Ryzen 1200 and a GT-710 GPU.

3rd gen Ryzen processors will require a BIOS update before they are compatible with the B450 Tomahawk. A pre-updated BIOS cannot be guaranteed. We suggest looking at the B450 Tomahawk MAX edition as it is compatible out of the box.
