A:AnswerIt isnt consistent. MSI promises 16GB and thats it, no matter how it's done based on supply. They don't even have to use both slots. Luckly CPU-Z shows I received two dual rank SK Hynix HMA81GS6DJR8N-XN 8GB DDR4-3200MHz CP4-25600 SO-DIMM Memory Modules
A:AnswerHDMI is wired to dGPU instead of iGPU.
You will get better performance than iGPU for sure, but it means powering on dGPU all time (~6-12W consuption)
A:AnswerI personally haven't had any hinge issues in the 6 months that I've had this laptop. It just depends on how tight or loose the factory makes the hinges. If you happen to get loose enough hinges then you won't have any issues. If the highest are tight then they will end up breaking.
A:AnswerPlease note that the Valve index requires a DisplayPort to function. The USB-C port does support DisplayAlt mode but we would advise contacting Valve support to request for confirmation.;
A:AnswerIf you need to get a DP connection you will need to use a compatible USB-C to DisplayPort cable as the Delta 15 does not natively support a DP connection.
A:AnswerI know it’s been a while not for others who may look at these questions before purchase, the screen is a bit over 300 nits. Reviewers with the equipment stated 314. This is plenty to use indoors even with bad glare. For reference, budget gaming laptops almost always have 250nit screens. I’ve had two with 250 nit screens and they’re live-able but I found myself regularly trying to turn the brightness up only to realize that was maximum. You won’t have that problem with this.
