- Answer The HDMI in the GF65 is listed to support 4K 60Hz which is HDMI 2.0 standard.

- Answer In MSI dragon center you can set the laptop to only charge to 50% if you only use the laptop plugged in this can help extend the life of the battery over the years. Just remember to turn it back to 100% when you plan to go mobile

QuestionI am having trouble connecting to monitors to the laptop I hook up one directly to the hdmi port and then I use a usbc adapter to hdmi and get no signal on the second one I’m not sure what the problem is can this be connected to double monitors

- Answer To the best of my knowledge the USBC connections on this laptop are only good for transferring data to and from external hard drives/SSDs and can’t be used as thunderbolts/charging or display to second monitor or a VR headset

QuestionIs there any way I can disable Optimus, or make my laptop use the dedicated gpu only on the laptop screen. When I went into the bios on this laptop, it gave me an option to choose my graphics card, but when I click on it, it says “Mux less”.

- Answer The MSI GF65 Thin 10UE-213 is preinstalled with Windows 10 but can be easily upgraded to Windows 11. This notebook does come equipped with an HDMI port.

QuestionI want to add an additional ssd to this, the one it already comes with is a gen 3 m.2 2280. I understand i have to find another m.2 2280 but does it also have to a gen 3? gen 4's actually seem to be cheaper online.

- Answer You can use either Gen 3 or Gen 4. If you buy Gen 4 it will run at max Gen 3 speeds or about 3500 read and 3100 write.
