“I'm debating between this model and Apache pro. I want to run x plane but I'm afraid this model will get too hot. It seems like Apache pro does a better job keeping the temperature low based on the reviews. Can someone give me some opinions?”

I'm not familiar with x plane but you're right this guy does get hot and the slim case just adds to the issue. Neat thing about bestbuy is you've got 15 days to make your final decision so get it, put it through the paces and bring it back if you aren't happy.

Please try again later.I recommend this laptop 100% I use it to create CGI mainly but I also Battlefield 4, Call of duty Ghosts, Dirty bomb, Arma 3 and runs everything perfectly. It does get hot sometimes but it should be fine. At the end that's what its made for. For the same range of price I would recommend you the ASUS ROG over the Apache Pro because of its portability.
