- Answer From the YouTube reviews, the Best Buy has a TN panel (Non-IPS) for it's screen (horrible viewing angles). I confirmed this by looking at their display model in store. Unless you are directly in square in front the colors and picture itself degrades

Questionwould this be good computer for a Architect student? is this consider the MSI Pro "all in one" that can be used for business, ie, AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Creative suite, etc. does is the operating system 64 bit ? your website does not specify. Help.

- Answer I'm currently an Engineering student that bought this laptop to run programs like AutoCAD 2017 and also things like Vectorworks and Revit. It does have a 64-bit operating system, and runs all of those programs super well while also being really light and thin if you need to carry it around in a pack of some sort.

Questionwhat's the battery's life in this laptop?

- Answer Not super great. When doing regular stuff I get 3-4 hours. When gaming, it's much less which is to be expected obviously. I haven't measured it but I'd gather around 1 hour of battery while gaming. Not a big deal for me as I got it for the power/gaming aspects and understand that battery is somewhat of a sacrifice especially with the smaller chassis.

QuestionOne part of the description says "4K" and the other says "1080x1920". So which is it?

- Answer It's the latter, 1920x1080. There are models with a 4K screen and it appears they used that text here by accident. It is an excellent screen, though. While researching this laptop before purchase I did see quite a few reviewers talking about the difference between this and a 4K screen, and the general consensus was that the higher resolution didn't make much of a difference for a laptop.

- Answer By Zone....you can make all the zones the same color or different colors. There are 3 zones. There is a "gaming" option that only lights up the left side of the keyboard (I guess to emphasize those keys used in gaming...but it's the whole zone and not individual keys such as WASD.

- Answer It is the cheaper version screen, as stated previously. However, to correct the poster who said that the 230 version has the same specs, that is not true. The 230 version has the better ips screen, as well as a PCIE SSD (vs M.2 SATA for the 252) and a 2TB SATA HD (vs 1TB for 252). The 230 version also has an MSRP that is $250 more expensive.

- Answer Honestly, it's a matter of preference. I have no issues with the screen on this. Yes the viewing angles aren't the best, but when I'm gaming on a laptop, I'm usually viewing the screen from straight on. Plus the panels are easily upgradable for less than $100 if you get it and decide you don't like the display that's in it.

- Answer You can upgrade if you get the external egpu. With that you can attach a desktop card to the laptop. As it is, it's a laptop and you cannot expand the graphics card

- Answer Yes, because it has a 16gb ram. Any laptop or desktop with 4gb or not ram will have a 64bit operating system.

- Answer Don't use it on a bed, pillow, or other soft surface that will block the exhaust vents and insulate heat. You can also try using a cooling pad. Make sure that you keep the computer clean and clear any dust or debris from the fan system.

- Answer I'm not sure on the rpms of the fan. but they are adjustable and there is a cooler boost technology. I can play PUBG for a few hours straight on high setting and never have a problem with my CPU or GPU heating up to much.
