Honestly, it's a matter of preference. I have no issues with the screen on this. Yes the viewing angles aren't the best, but when I'm gaming on a laptop, I'm usually viewing the screen from straight on. Plus the panels are easily upgradable for less than $100 if you get it and decide you don't like the display that's in it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The display is ok. I've definitely seen better and at this price would expect slightly better, but I do think some of the reviews are a little harsh. The display seems to look better under Windows vs. Linux, however.
