West Lafayette native here (Go Boilermakers!) I also plan on buying one of these bad boys soon, as I am about to start Engineering school as well. I am going with the 15 inch GS66 because it will be much easier to carry around VS the 17 inch. If you want to do gaming at your dorm/apartment, buy a separate monitor and keyboard and you can play on that.
