it comes with WD Black SN730. (I was doing the modification earlier today). and of course, a second ssd was provided. make sure to get thermal pad and heat sink for that (it's a empty slot, nothing attached.)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.this model only allows for the user/owner to install up to 2 NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD's. It comes with a 1TB Western Digital NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD. But I personally find that Samsung - 970 EVO Plus 1TB Internal PCI Express 3.0 x4 (NVMe) Solid State Drive with V-NAND Technology are faster and have better overall performance than the pre-installed Western Digital SSD that it comes with. i bought mine here at Best Buy so ill give you a direct link to the actual product page of the particular drive in reference to https://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-970-evo-plus-1tb-internal-pci-express-3-0-x4-nvme-solid-state-drive-with-v-nand-technology/6324470.p?skuId=6324470 But if you're one of those types who want a faster drive but feel like its better to stick with the same manufacturer that MSI used like Western Digital, then here's the direct link to Best Buys product page of the fastest "gaming ssd" made by Western Digital. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/wd-wd_black-sn750-nvme-1tb-internal-pci-express-3-0-x4-solid-state-drive-for-laptops-desktops/6338995.p?skuId=6338995 *If you decide to buy the Western Digital "Gaming" SSD you need to know that the SSD comes with the Gaming Mode option turned off from the factory. So you'll need to turn it on manually by going to the Western Digital Support Downloads Page and Downloading the WD SSD Dashboard application. And you will not be able to utilize the applications features if you have a non-WD SSD installed. The app scans for WD SSDs every time its loaded and will force close if it cant locate a Western Digital SSD installed in your system hope ive been able to help you find what information you were looking for before buying or in the process of researching your gaming laptop configurations+price ratios happy hunting!! PS** look at the recommended products to quickly end this curious debate of what make/model/interface/capacity driver this supports and remember it has only 2 NVMe PCIe M.2 Slots
