No, DDR5 is a different shape. There is a Z790 Tomahawk board that doesn’t include “DDR4” in the name, that is the DDR5 version.

No it does not. Ddr4 and ddr5 have a different alignment slot in the middle so you know what's up and down. The ddr4 is more offset 5hat the ddr5. Ddr5 is almost in the middle where it plugs into the board.

The documentation calls for DDR4.

No, this only supports ddr4. You will need to order the ddr5 version for that support.
