Q: QuestionSet up- I7-13700k Z790 64gb 3600Mhz x4sticks 4080 and multiple SSDs. Problem I am running into is that when all 4 sticks of 64Gb are on the board does not want to XMP, But when only 32Gb of ram are connected XMP no problem wondering what's going on?

• A:Answer You are not guarantied XMP with 4 sticks of ram. It is no fault of the board, and you should have done more research. It is the same for the DDR5 version. It is the limit of the CPU. You would have to have 2x32gb kit

• A:Answer It will work, but may not work with XMP. You may have to loosen timings and/or change voltage. The IMCs in these chips just don't like all 4 slots being filled. You are better off using 2x16GB sticks.
