Honestly, I am of the mindset after many hours of troubleshooting, that is has more to do with the thermal pads on the card. There is some correlation with closing out all performance monitoring software (Radeon, MSI Afterburner) that apparently helped many owners... just not me. That being said, never hurts to have more cooling :D
