Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A Ryzen 7 3700x is total, pointless overkill for gaming. The 2600 you have now is more than fine as long as your main use for the PC is gaming as the Intel 8400 (a 6 core i5 with very similar capability as your Ryzen 5 2600) is still slaying when it comes to gaming performance here in 2020. The bigger issue is your GPU, I just upgraded from a 590X Fatboy which isn't all that much stronger than your 580X. The 480X/580X/590X cards are considered budget gaming cards these days, you can find deals on them for $150 or less in some instances. At 1080P medium-high settings they perform great but in games with more demanding requirements / poorer optimization (Tarkov is both) they start to lose steam. They aren't viable at all outside of basic 1080P gaming anymore and even in 1080P they're starting to lose ground hard as games evolve more and more. The 5700XT will solve that problem for you, and will solve it for a while to boot. I game in both 1080P Ultrawide and 1440P on very high to ultra settings on a 90hz monitor and my new 5700XT paired with my i5 9600K (both have a mild OC) and 16GB's of 2,433mhz DDR4 has been absolutely killing it for my needs in that settings department. You can upgrade your CPU if you'd like, but for gaming it's more than enough and will likely continue to be for at least a few more years. Unless you plan on doing really CPU intensive tasks like video editing or extreme multitasking your 2600 is a great processor, the bigger system bottleneck is going to be that aging 580x which is pushed out of the limelight more and more these days and is a budget GPU at best.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’ve upgrading not new buildings thanks
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes the difference will be sigifinicant. Like 100 150 more fps also it will run smooth 144 frames at 1440p
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Is this a new build or upgrading an old system? If a new build then: The 5700XT will allow for a higher FPS. The Ryzen 7 3700x processor has a lot less of an impact on FPS performance but will increase overall performance of the cybersystem as a whole. After the GPU upgrade, another thing to consider is the monitor and cables you are using, these can have a negative impact on FPS as well. Also with the Ryzen 7 3700x having a base clock of 3.6GHz, it would be a good idea to match the RAM speed to that base clock. So you may want to look for 3600Hz RAM. If this is upgrading an old system then there definately more things to consider...the mother board and system cooling is two of them
