“Buying motherboard today. B550 or x570 or is there no way around bios update with Ryzen 3600”

• It will work great with a 3600. The difference between the B550 and X570 is you get more pci-e gen4 slots. The B550 is more of a beginner board. I personally recommend x570 if you are going to utilize al of its gen4 speeds. This includes m.2 SSD and graphics card.

• I went with the x570 I have no problems. But it could be overkill depending what you need or want. B550 suffices for most people if you want nothing but gaming and little productivity
