Your 6+2 or 8 pin connectors should be part of the power supply your PC has. If the power supply doesn't have them, you may be able to purchase them if it is a modular power supply. Modular supplies have ports on the power supply unit (PSU) front face, where you manually connect cables. Non-modular supplies just have one huge sleeve where all the cables emerge from the PSU, and don't really allow for extra cables. Pop the side panels off to make sure the cables aren't tucked away or something if someone else made your PC.

They are typically labeled PCIe and look similar to the CPU power cables. Not all PSU's have them (especially if you are trying to upgrade a pre-built PC). Look into PSU's for information on sizing the power requirements and the associated cabling.
