• The "CR" nomenclature from MSI means the monitor is curved. I don't see anything in either monitor's literature saying one has worse lag than the other. The only difference appears to be the CR's panel curvature.

• The mag270cr has a 1ms ping and the g27c5 which has a 13 ms ping believe the mag270cr is just an updated version both are same other than the ping time and also believe the mag270cr rgb colors are a lot better too.
