Q: QuestionWhat the difference between this monitor and the MSI - Optix MAG27C 27"? This one is new but cheaper. So not sure which one to buy.

- A:Answer This one is newer, has RGB lighting in the back and has a max refresh rate of 165Hz, while the Optix MAG27C only has red lights and has a max refresh rate of 144Hz.

- A:Answer I don’t think you can, you can’t even see the colors even when it’s pitch black. It doesn’t create a glow effect.

- A:Answer Yes, that's what FreeSync does. As long as you have a video card that supports FreeSync, like recent AMD or Nvidia cards, then you won't get tearing.
