MAG27C has the following: 1x DP(1.2) 1x HDMI(1.4) 1x DVI This isn't a 4K or even 2K display so 2.0 wasn't necessary. If it's an issue regarding incompatibility, they're backwards compatible, but 1.4 will limit the display quality on higher resolution displays. HDMI can only output 60Hz, if you want 144Hz a DisplayPort cable is necessar. This display comes with both.
