A:Answer It is the Dynaudio 6 speaker with Nahimic version 4.9.4 currently. Versions will continue to go up as it has had at least 3 updates since I got it last month.
For a laptop it's fairly good. Beats all my previous work lenovo laptops, my wife's legion laptop, and any of my work's standard computer speakers. It does not have a subwoofer, but is clear and doesn't sound forced or distorted. Since the speakers are not super large the lower frequencies below 200 hz aren't amazing and it obviously rolls off rapidly. Handles the mids and highs up to around 18khz without issue.
The Nahimic AI sound setup adapts to the environment you are in, turning up and down and keeping vocals easy to hear, at least on the setting I have it on right now.
I mainly use it for 3D modeling and manipulating point clouids from LIDAR scanners, with an occasional gaming session, So I usually have music playing in the background at a lower level. If it's a noisy enivronment with my kids being loud or my work collegues being annoying I headphone up anyway.
Never going to compare to a quality set of headphones or home theater though. If you are an Audiophile it will not make you happy. It's not even close to my Sennhausers HDs or my all NHT speaker/Yamaha A6A 9.2 surround setup. Just perfect for some light music in the background, youtube, and occasional gaming session. Any more than that and you will want more.
