Is the MB compatible with the I7 7700k? null

No, the z370 series are for 8th gen only. (i7 8700K)

Unfortunately it is not compatible with the I7 7700K. Intel has said it made changes to the pin set up due to the higher core count and power needed to run the new 8th generation Intel chip sets.
