Hello Yes, some model have power buttons. They do need to be cycled off to retain a full charge. Thank you China
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is an on/opff button. I thought it was auto turning off when not in use. When you first turn it on using the on/off button while unconnected to any power source, two semicircular lights, together with a series of dashes (which indicate charge level--the more dashes, the higher the charge level) light up. If you don't then connect it or place a phone on top of it in the normal phone recharging position, the lights go off. I assume that, once those lights go off, the unit will keep whatever charge it has left for as long as the battery in a turned off phone would, i.e, weeks or months.
