“Will the feet of the C558 fit on a shelf that is 12" deep? measurement front to back, also side to side, of the distance foot to opposite foot. Can you also give this for the C588? Thanks. p.s. on another note, I wonder re your measurements”

Yes it should. The unit is 17(L-R)X13(F-B). The legs are approx. 1" in from front and back and 2" in from left and right. Do not have info for C588.
