• I have a fire stick and I use that remote to turn the soundbar on and adjust the volume up and down. I use the system remote to get the kind of sound I want such as surround, etc.

• With me you must use the remote to power everything on until the TV accepts the remote then the TV will power everything on the volume the TV remote will power the volume on also I love my Nike tissue sound bar and now that I can use the remote to use the volume I love it even more
