• No. The string lights connect to a power brick. The string itself splits into two subsections with no additional plugs at either end.

• No, you'd need to run an extension cord to each controller, which is in the middle of the strand.

• No, they are single strand. That is not a problem with tree lighting though. I have 2 strands fully covering an 8’ tree with no issues in regards to length.
