• To the best of my knowledge these can only be used for Guild Wars 2. You could go to the Guild Wars Wiki and ask the community. They might be able to give you a more definitive answer.

• No, this can only be used in Guild Wars 2 and will not work with the original game. I believe the only way to gift in-game purchases in the original Guild Wars would be with a prepaid cash card (e.g. Visa/MasterCard).
