• No, first you do need wifi to get it set up and then it needs it to preform the routines.

• Hi Kenny, You would need an active WiFi connection for the D8 to be able to utilize a schedule for cleaning, and in some cases, you may need to connect the robot at least once so that you can download crucial software updates to improve your robot's performance!
