Yes, you can play music on the device! Reviews that were posted before the product was released said that the sound quality was not that good, but I have been satisfied with it. Normally, I listen to music on my Google Home every day and love it! The location where I have my Google Home Hub set up is not in a place where I normally listen to music, but I have played music on it a few times and it sounds fine.
