• You can communicate through them without a phone number. You can do this through the broadcast feature. This lets you record a message that broadcasts to every Google Nest in your home. To activate it say “Hey Google, broadcast.” Google will ask what the message is, record it, and play that message on your other device. After that message is played, the other person can reply by saying “Okay Google, reply” and record their message back. It’s more of a walkie talkie type interaction.
