There are other advantages of bonding multiple channels, again depending upon how many they allow (4 is the minimum). Better reliability and more consistent speed may result from being spread over more channels, thus able to handle congestion better. So you might or might not see it in speed or be aware of the difference but it could be there and might help if you do a lot of simultaneous video streams. Modems are a dark art but generally the higher end, the better they can deliver if you really need it.
