“Can I connect it to a modem?”

• I bought this switch because I wanted more hard wired connections, 1 for my smart TV, 1 for my Hue hub and a couple other things. To connect all you do is run a cat5 from your modem output to any ports on this switch. Plug in the power and then the other ports on the switch are available to connect to your other devices.

• Should be able to. I connected to an AT&T R/G with RJ-45 Cat-5 cable.
