- Answer It works flawlessly with my Reolink cameras and DVR. 4 cameras off the POE ports and another port goes to my DVR across the house.

QuestionCan I have two internet connections attached to this switch (verizon hotspot and spectrum internet modem) for uninterupted internet service? Will it hold an internet feed if one goes down.

- Answer No. You need a Router that supports Dual Internet connections (Dual WAN) to do this, like the Linksys LRT224. Each internet connection connects directly to your router. Then your router connects to a switch or via WiFIto drive your home network.

- Answer No it does not, it can either have a static IP for access or get an IP via DHCP. But it does not have a built in dhcp server.

- Answer YES. Any smart switch allows port monitoring: all packets for one port copied to another.

Questionhow does this "smart managed" switch compare to a "managed" switch? Is there less functionality? I am a student in CCNA and want to set up my home network to get some hands on experience, should i just Go for the Cisco SG250 instead?
