I recommend you contacting warranty support for your product. It sounds as though when the power went out there may have been a surge which caused the device to malfunction. However, only a support representative would be able to confirm that. Usually if the device is still under warranty, the manufacturer will replace at no cost.

Changing the power supply using a different 12V 1+A adapter or simply letting the device sit unplugged for over 30 minutes solved the issue spontaneously. However, as of right now, I think my unit is damaged for good.
