“Is this modem copatible with Centurylink Prism system? I am currently using a NETGEAR modem that is at least 10 years old. It is constantly dropping off line, and has to be manually reset. I believe that the modem is ready to fail completely, but it may be a compatibility issue with Centurylink Prism, which I changed over to about a year ago. Any thoughts/suggestions?”

• I think your best bet is to get a new onr since 10 years ago the internet speeds were much slower and now it prob can't handle the load plus its also prob not compatible. Youll be glad once you upgrade

• This modem is only for cable company like Bright House Network. You have century link service, you need another modem for DSL. Besy buy sold DSL modem and router.
