• I can't say for replacing that specific modem, but I know that Comcast just came to make sure our speed was working properly. We're using this cable modem with Comcast and Google Wifi and getting wifi speeds ~130-170 mbps no problem.

• I am using with Comcast. You can even authorize online, no phone call needed.

• Look on comcasts website for modem that are compatible with your network. This one works well for me with Comcast.
