“I get internet thru suddenlink and use their equipment to get wifi. Do I just replace their router with the AC1200 or do I also have to purchase a new modem to go with the Ac1200?”

• The wireless (WiFi) portion of the Modem can be turned off and the router can be used to add more items to your network. it will be more secure, greater range, better options and reliability.

• The modem should be OK. The router is the key, at least is was in mine. This is a powerful and good router.
