You need to clarify how you currently get internet. If you currently have no internet, this device will NOT supply you with internet. You will need a modem (DSL, Cable, Satelite or even some sort of cellular (cell phone type) before you can connect. You will have to have internet for the Roku to work at all. Will it work with your Roku? Yes. Will it supply internet? No.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This device isn't Wi-Fi, it just projects your Wi-Fi signal that you have being fed into your house. If you don't have Wi-Fi or internet being fed into your house already, then this device will serve you no good. On the other hand, if you have internet coming to you, you will need (in addition to a router) a modem. These two devices allow your entire house to have a strong signal. I don't have any issues with my router projecting its signal, but the internet coming to my apartment is fiber. That being said, this router can handle the beefy internets, and streaming devices such as Roku, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc.
