Absolutely! I had the exact same problem and this extender remedied that issue. Once the extender was installed, my signal and speed nearly doubled. I would highly recommend this product to anyone!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe it would. I have my parents accessing my internet from across the residential street. Surely your second floor is closer than that!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have Comcast wireless internet as part of their triple play package - - the internet hook up is on the 2nd floor and my computers are on the 3rd and 4th floors of a 4 floor townhouse. This absolutely improved my speed and the quality of the connection - - no dropping off. Great purchase.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yea, it will definitely help. Placement is key though, make sure the extender is close to the end of range but still has a quality connection.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This worked for me, but the only way you can see if it works for you is if you try it. Best buy has a good return policy, so if you try it and it doesn't work you can just return it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it wil.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. It creates a separate wifi network that runs a lot slower than the existing one you have. I have a Comcast 90Mbs connection and the extender was putting out only 7Mbs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
