“Internet wifi modem and router are in my brother's room and my room is nextdoor. I wanted to connect with an eternet but we're not allowed. Can I put this Range Extender in my room and connect to my CPU w/ eternet cord? Or does it replace the wifi router?”

It's been more stable than when they were using wifi from their ps4's to the main router though. Speed is about the same wifi vs hard wired to the extender.
