There is a one year limited warranty from Netgear. In my experience, wireless devices live for about 1-2 years before they poop out. This one pooped out in a month for me, so... at least never expect more than the warranty. (the manufacturers know when their products will likely break)

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Dear Tom; Good question. I get this one a lot with my computer practice. The average lifespan of a wireless adapter is about 5 years. That means 5 years from now, technology would have changed, standards would have changed. You can't get around that fact. First it was Windows 7, then it was Windows 8, and then it was Windows 10--changes that occurred every 5 years or so. Expect that trend to continue. That's how the industry is able to support itself.
