It should work with most routers. You just have to plug it in to an electric outlet in the same room as your router. It will go through its searching. Then you will need to enter your password for your wifi. Once all the lights are green, you can move it to the location you want to use it.

It should work as long as you already have wifi. It connects to your current service and amplifies the signal. Very easy to install.
